Rent Review and Lease Renewal Negotiations

We have a strong track record when it comes to professional Landlord and Tenant negotiations, be that a rent review, or a lease renewal. We welcome the chance to be involved in budgeting, and to understand our clients' parameters for any settlement. Our role is then to agree the best deal available, either by negotiation, or by reference to an arbitrator or court when necessary. We also work with larger property companies to help them out with rent reviews on a piecemeal basis when they find they have conflicts of interest in-house.

We work with occupiers who are seeking to expand their portfolio of outlets across the UK, whether they are just looking to open a few new branches, or to undertake a much larger-scale development programme. Our national experience means that we can help in the early stages of identifying the number and location of new sites, and a priority order for tackling the list of new options. When appropriate we work with retail agency partners to identify the right sites and the best deals available for our clients, and support them through the legal process.

Consultancy instructions are always welcomed. We can take a project off your hands entirely, or we can work closely with your in-house teams to deliver an advisory role. Be it a short, one-off task that your own teams don’t have time to look at, or a longer term role working with you over time to deliver a phased project, we are here to help. We have extensive experience of working with clients to audit their portfolios, and look for opportunities to generate flexibility, security and certainty within an existing estate.
